The Poster Boy Come to Tokyo 2013

ハンガリー・ブダペストのインディ・バンド The Poster Boy が来日します。The Beatles や The Beach Boys を彷彿とさせるようなクラシックで美しいメロディとヴォーカルはいちど聴いたら忘れられません。東欧の美しい風景がそのまま音楽で表現されたかのような珠玉のポップソング、この機会にぜひ体験ください。今回は Imre と、同じくソングライティングを手がけるギターの Noel Mayer の2人での来日となります。共演バンドは前身である Amber Smith の時から交流のある sloppy joe と Mini Skirt、そして今回の来日にもぴったりな無国籍な魅力をもつ Nag Ar Juna とおとぎ話に出てくる音楽隊のような不思議な魅力の Jappers をお迎えします。DJ は幅広い音楽知識と経験を併せ持つ wizzjones氏です！

about The Poster Boy...

フロントマン Imre Poniklo を中心にハンガリーの首都ブダペストで結成。2012年夏にドイツ・ベルリンのインディ・レーベル Firestation Records とスペイン・バルセロナの Bell Boy よりデビューアルバム “Melody” をリリース。Imre は以前 Amber Smith として活動しており、SXSWへの出演の他ヨーロッパツアーや来日も果たしている。2013年11月には 2nd アルバム “Bonjour, cést pop deux” をリリース予定。
